The process

The following us some information about how I work and some thoughts about what may be helpful with all your planning.

Getting to know each other

It is great to meet each other first (if we can), either in person, or through Skype/facetime or telephone. This gives us a good opportunity to see if we both want to achieve the same end result, how I work and if your thoughts and plans are along the same lines. That is, do you want a relaxed or formal ceremony, secular or religious ceremony... or a combination of both. THere are lots of different ways to creat the ceremony that suits you and I need to hear what is right for you.

Planning your ceremony

We would then work together to personalise your ceremony to suit the two of you. This is a very important step as it is something very individual to you both and of course one of the most important days in your life so it is important to make sure that it becomes YOUR ceremony.

What I will provide

I will provide by email - readings, vows and ceremony samples to guide you and to give you some ideas that you can ask me to include in your personal ceremony. The ceremony including the walk in and walk out takes about 25 minutes but this may differ depending on exactly what you want in your ceremony.

Before the ceremony

I will write up the ceremony and at the rehersal we will run through the ceremony and practise walk in, walk out, ring exchange, where to stand etc - this helps to settle the nerves a little!

I hope this gives you some idea of the process involved. Each ceremony is individual and important to me and it is vital that I get it right for you and that you enjoy the experience!
